Hot Stone Massage

You are here: Home1 / Hot Stone Massage

Hot stone therapy uses basalt lava stones, that are heated in water, to achieve a full body sense of relaxation, while easing muscle aches and pains. In this soothing and healing massage, stones of varying sizes and weights are placed upon body contours in areas that hold tension. Stones are also used to replace your therapist’s hands for the massage. Having stones placed upon body areas that aren’t directly treated, allows for a greater full-body treatment.

Hot stone massage can be especially helpful for people who suffer from fibromyalgia, arthritis, sinus pain, delayed onset muscle soreness, and the discomforts of premenstrual syndrome.

Other benefits of a hot stone massage include:

  • Improves Lymphatic Circulation
  • Improves Shoulder, Arm, Leg, Neck and Back Pain
  • Promotes Muscle And Tissue Relaxation
  • Decreases Or Relieves Tension Headache
  • Promotes Significant Stress Reduction
  • Decreases Sciatic Pain
  • Decreases Joint Pain
